Dr. James Foo, PT, DPT

Dr. James Foo received his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University in 2016. He has extensive experience treating orthopedic, neurological, sports, and post-operative injuries while working throughout New York City. James is passionate about developing strong client relationships and helping guide them toward their fitness/performance goals. He holds several certifications, including USA Track and Field Level 1 coach, Road Runners Club of America running coach, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®) mobility specialist, and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) practitioner.

James enjoys competing in endurance races and is a team captain of Brooklyn Track Club. When not training for his next race, he also loves traveling, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.

 

Dr. Jessica Liu, PT, DPT

Dr. Jessica Liu received her Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from Chang Gung University, Taiwan, in 2013 and her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University, California, in 2017. She has worked in various clinical settings across Taiwan and NYC, treating a wide range of conditions including orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, post-operative cases, and women’s health issues. Believing in the power of listening, Jessica works closely with patients to understand their needs and guide them towards their health and performance goals.

Jessica holds several certifications including Level 1 Pelvic Floor practitioner from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, USA Weightlifting Level 1 coach, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®) mobility specialist, and Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) specialist. During her spare time she enjoys Crossfit, hiking, and discovering NYC's local coffee shops and food spots.

 

Dennis Serna, PTA, CPT

Dennis Serna, brings ten years of experience in the rehab and fitness world, having worked in various settings, from private practices to academic hospitals in NYC. He completed his Physical Therapist Assistant training at Laguardia Community College in 2020. He has since dedicated his career to helping patients, from those recovering from surgery to sports injuries, regain their strength and mobility and ultimately achieve their fitness/performance goals.

Dennis is also a Strength/Run Coach for the Brooklyn Track Club and Lululemon’s “NoName” Run Program. As an avid runner, he has completed 23 marathons and 3 ultramarathons since 2011, including qualifying for 7 Boston marathons. His ongoing challenge to run a marathon in every state ensures he maintains a high level of fitness. Dennis also enjoys calisthenics, playing basketball, and climbing in his spare time.

 

Dr. Zach Phanouvong, PT, DPT

Dr. Zach Phanouvong, received his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2017, where he had extensive training in manual therapy. His experience spans across treating orthopedic, post-operative, and sports injuries. Zach is committed to helping athletes, and active individuals improve their pain and transition them from rehab to performance. He is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to his patients, guiding them towards their goals.

Zach has contributed as a volunteer medical provider at notable sporting events, including the NYC marathon, AVP gold series and other major sporting events. When not in the clinic, Zach enjoys playing soccer in various competitive men's leagues in NYC, golfing, traveling, photography, and eating his way through NYC.
